For a great interview

For a great interview

· Eye contact is important. Don’t stare, make eye contact with the interviewer for a few seconds at a time.
· Don’t get stiff. Be relaxed(not over relaxed)smile and nod (at the proper time & manner)when the interviewer is speaking. Don’t laugh unless the interviewer does first.
· Be polite. Don’t talk too loudly or too quietly.
· Don’t slouch.
· Lean forward as you show you are keen to answer.
· Don’t lean back or show too casual an approach.
· Keep your both feet on the floor.
· Pay your undivided attention to the interviewer.
· Listen first.
· Don’t interrupt.
· Stay calm, Don’t show any kind of emotion. Keep it by yourself.
· Don’t talk bad about your last employer though it was a bad experience. Give a positive and diplomatic answer.
· Don’t be too animated when you are answering a question.

· Before leaving the interview smile and thank the interviewer for giving you the time to meet you, though if it's not a good interview.
· Say goodbye to the receptionist or anyone else you spoke to during the interview on your way out.
